Luka Fang is a multidisciplinary industrial designer who believes design is about creating thoughtful experiences for users. She observes and captures the interactions between objects and humans. Through rapid ideation, she generates creative and unique solutions. By blending approaches from different fields, such as art, fashion, creative direction, and graphic design, her design is not only functional in the traditional sense but also tells stories that artfully provoke thinking and emotion.
Driven by the passion for art, design, and fashion, Luka attended
China Academy of Art,
Parsons School of Design, and
ArtCenter College of design. During her college years, she participated in
NIO sponsored project and worked in a transdisciplinary team as an
Automotive designer.
Her strength lies in concept development, strategic design, and art direction. She generates creative solutions rapidly and communicates them effectively through her visual, 3D modeling, and physical prototyping skills.
She is currently a luxury eyewear designer and trend researcher at
DITA eyewear. Two sunglasses designed by her will be released next spring. Before that, she worked at
